France Equestre - French Equestrian Properties
France Equestre is a young and dynamic French-based family run business. It was established by Peta Morton in response to her own frustrations when trying to source a family home with acreage in France. She writes:
"Our own equestrian project was relatively simple - a pleasant country home in reach of good hacking and competitions, with enough land to start a small scale sport horse breeding project. Nevertheless our search took many months, and involved scanning numerous websites, visiting many estate agencies and notaires in order to track down properties with sufficient land. Surely there was a better way. What if many equestrian properties were grouped in one place, accessible and easy to understand for someone who hadn't yet got to grips with the language and intricacies of the French property market?".
They are now well-established in France and have a wide range of friends and associates throughout the equestrian community. Peta has extensive management experience and a lifelong passion for horses. Her equestrian background extends to eventing, showjumping, dressage, showing, horse racing and teaching. Peta & Karl are both very active supporters of their two daughters who regularly show jump on the pony circuit.
